Teachers’ Day!

Teachers teach. Educator does a little more than that.

To all my educators who managed to inspire me, motivate me, bring me out of misery, put faith in me, have trust in my integrity, I hereby wish that you people have fun for this joyous occasion, created just for you! Shall do a small little dedication to educators who mould my character and brought me to who I am today!

The teacher who implemented the points system to encourage the whole class to score well to earn points or chops. Brought out the competitive nature of us all. Nevertheless, I suppose it also helped us to bond better among ourselves. Instilled into me the passion of Maths and Science.

Upon meeting you in the shopping centre and not saying Hi, I have now become more initiated to say Hi to people I meet, whether in school or outside. I’ve also started to notice more about people around me as well cause you say that one have to be observant when doing duties.

Secondary School
Mr Yue Lip Sin (Principal Sec 2,3,4)
Seriously, I have no idea why my class dislike him. With so many personal contact with him, I find that he really fit the role of an educator. Contrary to popular belief, he’s actually quite a nice fella and very much concern about the welfare of the students as much as publicity for CCHS. Who can deny that he did an excellent job during his term as Principal? Which principal goes around and relief classes for teachers on MC? Just think about that.

Mr Kwek Wei Hong (Form teacher Sec 3,4)
My favourite teacher of all time in CCHS! He’s the one solely responsible for the sharp improvement in E maths! I just wanted to do well FOR him. I feel that he deserve the most credit in taming the bunch of people. Undoubtedly, he’s the one whom integricians respect most. He motivate us by telling us his own story to success. And he’s very funny! There’s this once whereby the class is very noisy and he’s trying to explain things to a student. He shouted”Shut Up!” And the class kept to a total silence. Then with his unique smile, he said, “I mean keep your volume down, I’m trying to explain this.” Lol! Funny xia!

Today even worse. A couple of friends and me met him outside of the Grand Audi this afternoon. He was cheerful and stuff, and while chatting, something extrodinary happened! He mentioned about S paper and encouraged us to take it. When I told him that it’s a little too late to say this kind of thing, he said, “No, you can go try for it after your promos!” Oh man! We are JC2s! Lol! He’s so blur!

Miss Lai Han Wai! (Geog teacher and Ncc teacher, Sec 1,2.3.4)
She definitely have a way in dealing with bengs and people of that calibre! Definitely makes an excellent choice as a Ncc teacher in charge! Why do you have to leave? Nevertheless, took up goeg was partly due to your influence! Stay pretty!

Yup, that’s the honours in my P school and Sec school! As for JC, I’m having reservations just yet.

Anyway, with regards to the visit back to school, I realise there’s some changes to CCL board! Firstly, there’s a Board for CCL! There’s 3 vice chairs and only 1 peer support head. And Ivie, my junior from the same group, scaled up to become the VP! Woohoo! This is already the thrd year whereby grp 6 have a vice president in the comm! Cheers! Thresa is the current group leader. Just wondering why Kylie did not manage to get into the comm. Nevertheless, Group 6 still rocks!

With effect from today, at least for the next couple of years to come, Teachers’ Day will be an ordinary day to come…

Stairway to Heaven

Remember the Korean show I’ve been talking about? It’s called Stairway to Heaven in English and 天国的阶梯 in 华语. I must yet again say that I’m truly impressed at how the script/plot develops. It just keep wanting you get more of the show! And it’s gonna be 1 more week before the next episode! Gosh! Winter Sonata had me worried that Korean shows dropped in standards! Phew! Seriously, I have not the slightest idea how Bae (Yong jun) managed to shoot to fame in Winter Sonata! :X Sorry, just stating my comment.

Back to the topic, Stairway to Heaven, like every classic Korean heart wrenching serial, involves a pair of siblings, whom are not related by blood, well, at least not the maternal side. The female lead, known as Han jing Shu or Qiu Zhe Xiu in the show, lost her memories due to a plot by her step sister. And the story evolves around her and 2 guy who are deeply enchanted by her. Currently, it does not have the effect of endless love, or more commonly known as 秋天的童话 in the sense that they do not try to make you cry in every single episode, however, they made it in a way that you crave that they show you one more episode! Argh! Nevertheless, I shall be patient and wait for just 6 more days before Monday!

Introduction to Lesinc

A simple maths and well, perhaps a little background information, this is actually my 5th blog! 1 in xanga, h4nzhon9, guitar, simple comp, and now, lesinc is born! Ok, I clarify,

Lesinc does NOT mean les inc.

No! It is pronounced as Le(2) Sin(1) get it? The brackets is the 汉语拼音!

Why did I choose this name?

“I was thinking of a classy name in the first place, and after many trial and error, I decided to give Lesinc the go ahead. Well, if you think this is not class, think of Hyundai, Baverian, Vuiiton, and co. They sound foreign to you doesn’t they? However, with the correct media exposure as well as the association with prestige, inevitably, they become well known brand names. Alas!
Lesinc is born!”

Why did I choose to set up another blog?

“Well, Life without a blog is disastrous! Been down to the Pen paper approach for the past week. Well, it’s not that it’s ugly or whatsoever, in fact, I think it looks pretty cool! Just that my inspiration don’t come flowing to me when it’s pen. Probably explains why we need to plan
before writing an essay out. Furthermore, I’ve just got quite a number of things to blog on, with which some are rather interesting to note.”

What kind of exposure do I want from this blog?

“Well, since I’ve started another blog, I don’t mind people from reading it. However, the same principle goes, if you choose to read it, appreciate, don’t discriminate! Constructive comments are very much welcome, however, criticism, just flung it out of the window or something ya?”
