Heal the world!

“Heal The World”

There’s A Place In
Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could
Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You’ll Find There’s No Need
To Cry
In This Place You’ll Feel
There’s No Hurt Or Sorrow

There Are Ways
To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There’s A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love’s Enough For
Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were
Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We
Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It’s Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God’s Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We’ll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me

Mini Japan

February 17, 2007

In Auckland, you’ll find many gifts shops along the streets. Almost any of the street you pass by, there’s bound to be a gift shop. Probably to cash in on all the tourists who visit Auckland. The gifts shop sells mainly the same items. And what’s most surprising was that, most of such shops are not owned by New Zealanders. They’re owned by Japanese.

I confirmed my doubt when I was paying for some items, the cashier asked which country I came from. I replied Singapore. After which I asked her if she was from New Zealand, which she replied no, I’m from Japan. I told her she does look like she’s from Japan. She smiled.

Anyway, you will see many shops with Japanese letters as well. Many Japanese eateries. Some Japanese students. Auckland is somewhat like a mini Japan if you ask me. Not that I have anything to complain about.

It just puzzled me on why they want to move to Auckland. Auckland is not anywhere near Japan. Some of the reasons why they moved might be because they chose Auckland to study in since getting into Tokyo University is extremely difficult. They want to plan for their retirement days. Study English. They would like to move to a new environment. Somehow, I think I’m not getting the correct answers.

Cool Jap Actor

February 14, 2007

I wanna be a cool Jap actor.

For people who have nothing to do and always look at other people msn nick (like me), you will have probably seen the above text. For people who knew me since young, you will know that my first and foremost aspiration is to be a lawyer. Natural ok! They earn a lot of money and from shows, they are aggressive and during court, they just got the seh la.

However, it is very difficult in becoming a lawyer and now, I’ve tarnished my first dream because of my not up to standard result. After lawyer, there’s many other occupations which I want to be.

Teacher, for the motivation I hope to give. Looking at students fulfiling their dreams would be an added advantage. To have the students look up to you, put you as their role model is satisfying. Seeing them fulfiling dreams that I want to achieve is inspirational. That’s probably why I want to be a teacher. Supporting them before and after SYF, Nationals. But I lack the credentials.

DJ. I still want to be one. However, being a DJ, can I support my family? Can I provide them with what they want? Can. If I marry a rich lady.

I didn’t mention this before. But I’ve always fantasized about this. Sportsmen! Representing Singapore to achieve glory had always been my fantasy. Sportsmen do things that they like. Their job is to persue their interest and take it to a higher level. It’s tough, however, you gain recognition along the way. Like Li jia Wei, Ronald Susilo, Remy Ong, they have become household names.

Air steward. I love travelling. And being an Air Steward is probably my only way since I can’t be a pilot. Of course not forgetting the Air Stewardess!
So how do I materialise everything? By being a Cool Jap Actor!

Let me analyse for you ok?

Teacher – Great Teacher Onizuka

Air Stewardess — Attention Please

Sportsmen — Ace wo narae, Attack No. 1, Water boys

DJ — Erm, think hard to find. Cause what could entice viewer watching a DJ host shows?

Lawyer — Yet to find one. However, Singapore has more of that.

Ah! And now you are thinking, why Japanese and not Singaporean?

It’s the different type of shows these 2 countries produce. Japanese shows are more on the motivating side. They touch viewers’ heart. They are more extreme. Singapore’s shows is suited for most Singaporean audience (Like duh). More down to Earth, more practical, more Singaporean. So it’s a different concept. I’m more into the japanese concept.

I suppose I’m into Japan-revolution!

But well, you people know right, I want I want I want is only a want. I just put it up on my nick because I really want. Not that I could…

Home soon!

February 6, 2007

In another 3 days I’ll be back in Singapore. And shortly after that, I need to go back to work again! Argh! Then again, There’s a Taiwan trip in April, South Africa trip in June as well as an India trip in September! Haha. of course I’m not going for all the trips la!

This is a pretty good trip as I manage to catch up on my sleep and get to enjoy this lovely weather. I breathe out cold air a couple of days ago whenever I talk! The feeling was so cool, literally. I love New Zealand. It’s such a nice country. Nice people, nice weather, nice scenery, nice food.

But well, I’m still a Singaporean citizen and I love Singapore still la. Just that a new experience in a new environment is bound to get you excited ma. And I’m in New Zealand in their warmest time. If I was here in their coldest times, I think my comments would be much different.

R & R is coming! In another 2 days to be precise. Will be heading down to Auckland! Auckland leh! Staying at somewhere in Skycity. If the paper stated correctly, it will be at Skycity hotel! Skycity hotel is a 4+ Star hotel leh! Then can go skytower do a skyjump. Haha, I’m kidding.

So exciting! Then come back Singapore got some days off. Then can go running, swimming, etc.
