10 Million!
February 20, 2008
>>> Aiyah, I’m not one of the few people… Boo!
Huat ah!
Tomorrow 9.30 pm, there will be a few people clutching their winning lottery ticket, checking the numbers over and over again with the those on display either on television or on the monitor screen. They may scream for joy knowing that they just won millions of dollars or they might prefer to just conceal their glee and act as though nothing had happened for fear that the tickets might be snatched away.
However, for every one of the winner, there are bound to be numerous more who won nothing. Afterall, to match all 6 digits from a possible 45 numbers to choose from is never easy.
Then again, why is it that people still flock to 旺 Singapore Pool to get their lottery ticket? The common answer is try their luck. But aren’t Singaporeans ’scared to lose’?
Haiyah, I don’t know what I’m talking about la.
But if I manage to struck 10 million tomorrow then perhaps I might just retype this whole entry again.
Huat ah!
Sales!
February 16, 2008
I need to know more about tackling human psychology! Cause I’m working as a salesman, and doing sales is not just repeating the well rehearsed lines. You have to:
- see which products are better for the user
- gain the trust of the user such that the user/buyer will buy your recommended configurations
- if the consumer are deciding over rival products, have to explain the differences and yet not sound extremely bias
These are just some aspects of doing sales. It’s the same as studies. Studying smart will always be more efficient than studying hard. So if a salesman introduce a lot of products, it is usually less effective than identifying the correct product before making recommendations.
Eventually, I need to push up my sales figures!!!
