Drive + Luck

March 12, 2008

From what I feel, sales is derived from 2 factors.

1. Luck
2. Drive

Even if you have the drive, you attend to many customers, however, those customers are just browsing and have zero intention to purchase anything, you will not clinch any sales irregardless. Therefore, with this in mind, we could thus draw up some equations.

100% Drive + 0% Luck = Bad sales
1% Drive + 99% Luck = Moderate sales
50% Drive + 50% Luck = Good sales!

Therefore, in order to have good sales, there is only this much you could do, the rest of it is largely prevalent to external forces.

And on a total irrelevant note, excel rocks! Haha. There’s like so many formulas I could input for easier calculations! It’s so fun to just play around with the formulas and it’s fulfilling when I managed to get the formula to what I wanted correct! Haha!

Template!!!!

March 5, 2008

Actually I’ve been wanting to blog for quite some time, just that whenever I see the blog template, I got so sick of it that I don’t feel like blogging le. I don’t understand why wordpress don’t allow user to change their template (presentation) without having to pay some 0.04cents a day.

There’s like so many splendid templates available on the web and I can’t do anything to upload them and change the image of my blog. Furthermore, new templates that I could use get uploaded like once every 3 months and they are not even anywhere close (in terms of the look) to those whereby people publish on the web!

This made me think whether I want to switch back to blogspot or maybe just upload my blog on a webhost which I could have complete freedom to play around. However, being IT not so literate, I might not know how to change the template also so is like should I or should I not! Argh! So frustrating!

Actually I change to WordPress cause at that time blogger doesn’t have the category thingy which they now have. However, wordpress can import a whole blog over from blogspot but blogspot can’t seem to do the same.

So how!?
