Guitar Farewell 2006

Once again, we crept into Aloha Loyang, Bungalow 16. It is not the same bungalow as this time round it is the SEA view! However, to me, it really looked identical.

Here’s the nicely decorated entrance to the Chalet. Made up by Rafia String and Toilet Rolls. The Juniors claimed that they spent too much money on the seniors gift that they have to resort to using these materials to decorate the place.

As per last year, balloons also hung around the ceiling of the place. But instead of sticking it to the wall, the juniors stick the balloons to rafia strings. Nice decorations hor? It’s the thought that counts ma.

The seniors started cooking at something like 5pm lor, whereas the Juniors are still busy making the seniors gift. From left, Huan Yu, Peng Yuan, Xiu Jun, Jean, Angela.

Being the geeky teacher, Mr Ng actually recorded the whole concert on footage. Didn’t get the video from him though. Cause I forgot!! But doubt he burnt it on a disc that day. See, that’s the scene whereby the Emcees are interviewing Cheryl.

The juniors gathered to watch Cheryl giving her speech. Nah, just kidding. They are just waiting for the JC1s to come and start performing la. The JC1 sang 2 song, first song is by Green day I think, no idea what’s the title or anything. The second son, I don’t know the title, but the song goes like this.. “As we go on, we remember, all the times we, had together..”

Dejavu! Isn’t this the same cake we had last year!? Chocolate de, then the wordings in pink! Exactly the same lor, just change the year can le! But it’s nice la :p

These are the Year ones. No idea the name. But this four girls sitting down reminded me of Nora, Geneive and co when they were there for the first 3 months. Very close together. One of the girls quite funny. Said she saw me before. She’s from Yu Neng Primary and TKSS. Then she said schools quite close, so she seen me before. LoL! Quite funny. The girl standing up is the new secretary. She blew all the balloons lor! Then when one burst, she said:”Ah! Another one balloon of my (breathe)? gone.

The orange shirt de is the new President of Guitar. His name is Aaron. Heard from Huan Yu that he’s quite good with hs guitar. He could play a song which he just heard comfortably.

The presents for the seniors! Metal picks! Cool! These are for the members. The comm had a Gold colour de! Haha, somehow, Gold seems to be a very important colour in Guitar lor. Everything gold = Nice! But Leon and I preferred the Silver ones. Haha!

Ahhh! I deleted one picture! Argh. nevermind, see, actually the picture before that is just this scene without the comm mebers underneath. They are actually looking for their Gold Spectrum cause the juniors hide it there. Everyone received theirs, except..

The 2 of them.. Haha! The new secretary even looked into the drain to check if their picks dropped lor! Make things look so real as though really missing! :p

Then they gave them a guitar and asked them to start looking for it. Only after Mrs Choong said shake it, then they shook it and realised the picks are actually inside the guitars.

Poor guitars…

Eat the cake!

The the seniors played a very very very very lame game! Called diu4 diu4 diu4 Tempo 300. The is diu diu diu, then the starter point to someone. The person who got pointed, which is Yilin in this case, have to point upwards, echoing diu4diu4diu4! The 2 person beside her have to point towards her direction and echoing diu4diu4diu4 also. And afterwhich, Yilin then have to point to another prson and ths continues la. The person whom laughed the most was Angela lor….

… Perhaps, other than him la. Haha, this guy damn funny also lor! The person who fault have to eat a slice of cake. And after which, I left in Leon’s mother car.

Quite a nice gathering I suppose.

Note: Mr Liauw is asking all his past students to gather together every alternate Sunday to just have fun, playing a mix of simple and difficult guitar songs and basically, just having fun. He will probably be starting with Simple songs and he urge us to go. Venue is at Kenridge CC, which I don’t have a good idea of where it is. It start at around 2 or 3. I personally think it is quite alright la, if you are free on Sundays, it’s a good option. Jun Kit, keen right? Alright!
